Martin Havlat

Mailed on 10/18/08 and received 2/2 back on 12/29/08. WOW!!!!! I'm still in total shock after opening this one! I was just saying the other day how Mr. Havlat seems to have stopped signing ttm. Maybe since Mr. Marty Havlat is having a great year and the Hawks are doing so well he's been in a good mood and grabbed a sharpie and is doing his mail. This is the 3rd of 3 letters I've written to him. The first was back in Dec of 2007. I'm so happy to get this one back. The cards are in great shape too after being the only thing in the envelope, no index cards no hard plastic case. Martin Havlat is my favorite player and I'm so glad that he is signing through the mail again at least for now. Cards where mailed to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Chuck Kobasew

Mailed on 12/2/08 and received 4/4 back on 12/27/08. Very nice return. He signed all of the cards on the best spots on the card so you could see the signature. Mr. Kobasew is a great signer ttm and I love these cards. All of the cards look great! Cards where mailed to the Boston Bruins

David Krejci

Mailed on 12/9/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/22/08. A very fast return from a young star on the Boston Bruins. Mr. David Krejci has been a pleasant surprise putting up great numbers so far this season. The beginning of the autograph with the D is a little faded but I'm still very happy with this return. Card was mailed to the Boston Bruins.

Scott Hartnell

Mailed on 10/24/08 and received 1/1 on 12/20/08. Great return, Mr. Scott Hartnell just scored a hat trick the other night and is up to 13 goals this season. Mr. Hartnell is just a great player and alot of fun to watch on the exciting Flyers. This card got a little smudged which I was shocked to see because these OPC cards are a dry surface and usually dry very fast but I guess Mr. Hartnell was using a juicy sharpie or something. Its not to bad though card still looks great. Card was mailed to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Brooks Laich

Mailed on 11/17/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/20/08. A nice return from a solid NHL'er. I got an RTS the first time I tried to mail this card to the Capitals because I mailed to an old arena address. It took a little digging but I finally found the new address on their website. If anyone wants the new address feel free to comment me and ask for it and I'll find it. Mr. Brooks Laich is a solid player and plays an important role on the Capitals team. A cool looking signature, very excited to add this autograph to my collection. Card was mailed to the Washington Capitals.

Craig Tatum

Mailed on 6/2/08 and received 4/4 back on 12/20/08. A long wait but I don't mind, all four cards are signed very nicely in thin blue sharpie. Mr. Craig Tatum is a growing prospect and I'm glad to see all four of these cards come back. Cards where mailed to the minor league team Mr. Tatum played on this year.

Kyle Quincey

Mailed on 12/4/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/18/08. Fast turnaround time from another good young star in the NHL. Mr. Quincey is currently with the LA Kings and is having a great season after being picked up on waivers from the Red Wings. He even personalized the card in silver pen and added "All the Best". I really like it when players personalize cards. I think its a cool added feature. Very excited to get this one back so fast and I'm very happy with the autograph and personalization. Card was mailed to the LA Kings.

Rostislav Olesz

Mailed on 11/6/08 and received 2/1 back on 12/18/08. Signed card and the index card I used to pad the envelope. Nice signature from a young star on the Florida Panthers. Mr. Rostislav Olesz is one of the many young players that ensure the Panthers a brighter future ahead if they can hold on to most of the players. I hope they do and turn their franchise around. Very happy with this return. Card was mailed to the Florida Panthers.

Mike Knuble

Mailed on 10/9/08 and received 7/3 back on 12/15/08. Wow Mr. Knuble was nice enough to sign all 3 of my cards and the 4 index cards I used to pad the envelope. Nice signature looks like he takes his time. Mr. Knuble is having an awesome season and is just an all around great NHL'er. Im very happy to get these back. Cards where mailed to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Rick Nash

Mailed on 10/22/08 and received 1/2 back on 12/13/08. Great return from an NHL star. I can't say I'm the biggest Rick Nash fan in the world, he always ends up pissing me off when I watch his Blue Jackets play but I've gotta give him credit he is a great player. I also have a newfound respect for him since he signs through the mail, unlike some of my favorite players (Martin Havlat!!). Kept my 08 OPC card but thats fine I'd probably rather have this card signed. Also card is signed in the thick dying black sharpie. Card was mailed to the Blue Jackets.

Chad Paronto

Mailed on 8/18/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/12/08. A nice return, long then I expected but still a return is a return. Card is signed in ballpoint pen. Doesn't look to bad but a nice blue sharpie would look alot better. But still very happy to received my card back. I mailed one of these cards to the Astros on 8/4 and then one to the Round Rock Express on 8/18. And the card was postmark from MA so theres no way of telling which one this is.

Garth Snow

Mailed on 11/28/08 and received 4/4 back on 12/8/08. Fast return from a coach I assume with the New York Islanders. I remember watching Garth Snow as a little kid and I was always a fan. It was very nice of him to take the time and sign 4 cards for me. I got the envelope back in a USPS envelope thing since my original envelope was torn to pieces. I don't know how it happened but the cards where in good shape so its fine with me. Cards where mailed to the New York Islanders.

Jonathan Bernier

Mailed on 11/17/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/8/08. A nice return from a promising young star in the LA Kings organization. The 11th overall pick in '06 is the goalie of the future with the Kings. Kind of a crappy signature but a return is a return and I'm very happpy with this one. Card was mailed to the Kings AHL team.

Craig Adams

Mailed on 9/15/08 and received 2/2 back on 12/6/08. This is the second time I've gotten Craig Adams through the mail. He's a tough player and a nice guy. Does whatever is needed for the Hawks and I'm glad he's getting more consistent time in the lineup lately with the Hawks. Cards where mailed to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Ruslan Fedotenko

Mailed on 10/31/08 and received 2/1 back on 12/5/08. Sweet return, I've been a huge Ruslan Fedotenko fan since he scored those huge goals in the Stanley Cup a few years ago with the Lightning. An odd but cool signature from a solid NHL'er. Cards where mailed to the Penguins.

Chris Minard

Mailed on 11/17/08 and received 1/1 back on 12/5/08. Nice return from a future NHL star. Mr. Chris Minard keeps on putting up huge numbers in the AHL and will soon be a scorer in the NHL. Nice return time and a good looking signature. Cards where mailed to the Scranton Wilkes Barre Penguins.

Theo Fleury

Mailed on 11/17/08 and received 3/3 back on 12/2/08. Great return time from a canadian request. I mailed Mr. Fleury a dollar and he was nice enough to mail the cards for me with canadian postage since I don't have any and am not sure how to get any. Cool signature from a great former player. Mr. Theo Fleury was alot of fun to watch! Cards where mailed to Mr. Fleury's business in Canada.

Joe Thornton

Mailed on 9//29/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/29/08. This is an AWESOME return!!! Former MVP Joe Thornton is truly one of the best players that I've ever seen play. An out of this world passer and consistent goal scorer Mr. Thornton is a terror to play against. I'm very happy to see that he takes time for his fans and signs ttm. I'd seen alot of Thornton success that took like 3 years to get back so I decided to send him something. Why not maybe if he's signing mail he'll get to mine pretty soon and thats exactly what happened. SO excited to get these back! Cards where sent to the San Jose Sharks.

Brian Rafalski

Mailed on 9/12/08 and received 1/1 back on 11/24/08. Great return from one of the most underrated defensemen in the league in my opinion. Mr. Brian Rafalski moves the puck and does a great job in his own end. Cards where mailed to his home.

Paul Ranger

Mailed on 11/1/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/24/08. Nice return from a solid d-man. Signed in silver sharpie which looks great on both cards. The picture really doesn't do these cards justice. Cards where mailed to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Doug Smail

Mailed on 10/20/08 and received 5/3 back on 11/24/08. Mr. Doug Smail was nice enough to sign all of my cards and two index cards for me. A solid NHL'er and I'm very excited to add these autographs to my collection. Cards where mailed to Mr. Smails home.

Joe Mullen

Mailed on 11/6/08 and received 4/4 back on 11/24/08. Fast return from a HOF'er. Signed all four cards beautifully in thin blue sharpie. All of the cards look great!! Cards where mailed to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Anze Kopitar

Mailed on 9/16/08 and received 4/2 back on 11/21/08. Wow awesome return from a future superstar! Anze Kopitar is one of the main building blocks on a very up and coming LA Kings team. They are going to be good for a very long time. He also signed both index cards I used to pad the envelope. Just overall an awesome return! Cards where mailed to the Kings.

Mark Parrish

Mailed on 11/3/08 and received 4/4 back on 11/21/08. Very happy to see this one come back, I mailed this to the minor league team that Mr. Parrish was playing on but the day after I mailed the cards he was signed by the Dallas Stars. So I expected my cards to get lost somewhere along the way, but I was very excited to get these back. Mark Parrish has been a great player for many years and I'm glad to see him back in the NHL and finding success with the Dallas Stars! It was very nice of him to take the time and sign all four of my cards very nicely in black.

Jordan Walden

Mailed on 7/7/08 and received 5/4 back on 11/19/08. Nice return from a young minor leaguer in the Angels system. He even added an extra team set card which is very nice of him to do. Its nice to see a young player taking the time to sign! Cards where mailed to the Cedar Rapid Kernels.

Milan Michalek

Mailed on 9/24/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/18/08. Sweet return from a great player on the rise! I recently went to a Blackhawks-Sharks game at the United Center and Mr. Milan Michalek scored a sweet goal. It was right off the faceoff a set play, right before the ref dropped the puck Milan skated around from the left wings spot to next to the right winger. They won the faceoff right to him and he shot and scored. Yeah he scored on my Hawks but I've gotta give him his credit on a great goal. Cards where mailed to the San Jose Sharks.

Phil Kessel

Mailed on 10/14/08 and received 1/1 back on 11/17/08. This is a great return from an awesome young player, even though he signed the smallest autograph ever (well close Jay Bouwmeester) high up in the top left corner. Oh well card still looks great and I'm very happy with this return. Card was mailed to the Boston Bruins.

Matt Carle

Mailed on 10/27/08 and received 3/3 back on 11/17/08. This is another odd return. Mr. Matt Carle was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers on 11/7/08 but I received these cards back postmarked from Tampa mailed on 11/12/08. Either the team didn't mail these out right away or something I'm not quite sure. Oh well the cards look authentic so I'm not too worried. Cards where mailed to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Teemu Selanne

Mailed on 5/5/08 and received 2/3 back on 11/17/08. Hmm not sure about these ones....I've heard and seen alot of ghost signed Selanne stuff but I've also heard reports of real signatures. These signatures are very nice which kinda of has me worried. I looked at alot of his certified stuff on ebay and some looks similar. I dont know haha Im paranoid about fake autographs. If anyone has any ideas of comments please let me know and put my mind at rest! Cards where mailed to Mr. Selannes home.

Saturday, November 15, 2008

Pat Neshek

Mailed on 8/28/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/15/08. I've seen tons of Mr. Pat Neshek returns through the mail so I decided I'd also try him. This one took a little long then most Neshek returns but still very happy to get this back. Cool signature from a when healthy, lights out reliever. Cards where mailed to the Minnesota Twins.

Chris Chelios

Mailed on 7/26/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/3/08. Wow!!! This is one of my favorite returns by far. I loved Mr. Chris Chelios as a kid when he was a Hawks and even though he converted to the dark side (the Red Wings) I still love him as a player. This was one of those requests that you'd love to get back but really don't expect to see it come back. So it was even better when I tore open the envelope and saw these babies in there. Awesome return from a GREAT player. Cards where sent to Mr. Chelios's home at 790 Falmounth Dr./ Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304

Tuomo Ruutu

Mailed on 4/20/08 and received 1/2 back on 11/13/08. This is I think my longest return time or pretty close. I sent this one out right after Tuomo was dealt to the Carolina Hurricanes last year at the NHL trading deadline. I was heartbroken to see Tuomo go, I was and still am a huge fan of his tough but talented style of play. Nice to see Mr. Ruutu taking the time to sign all of his mail. Cards where sent to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Bill Ranford

Mailed on 10/20/08 and received 4/4 back on 11/13/08. Great looking signature, very small and neat. Mr. Ranford is currently working with the LA Kings and I'd seen some success c/o the team so I gave it a shot. Very happy to get these back from a great NHL goaltender.

Troy Brouwer

Mailed on 10/25/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/12/08. Great return I love Troy Brouwer and his tough style of play. He's contributing in a physical way and scoring goals with the significant ice times he's been receiving. If he continues to play like he has he'll be in the NHL for a long time. Cards where mailed to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Steve Smith

Mailed on 10/31/08 and received 5/5 back on 11/12/08. Nice return from a former Blackhawks and solid defenseman in his years in the NHL. It was very nice of him to sign all five cards I sent. All of the cards are signed very nicely in blue sharpie. Cards where mailed to Mr. Steve Smiths home.

Wojtek Wolski

Mailed on 10/14/08 and received 1/2 back on 11/12/08. Once again another player from the Avs who sends out signed pictures instead of signing what you send. I'm ok with this I guess, its much better then nothing. It would be really cool if they gave the players a stack of cards to sign but hey, oh well. Happy to get this back from a young star like Mr. Wojtek Wolski. Cards where mailed to the Colorado Avalanche.

Michael Peca

Mailed on 9/16/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/10/08. Nice return from a solid NHL'er his whole career. Very happy to see this one come back. It shows Mr. Peca has alot of class to still be signing autographs after all these years. Cards where mailed to the Columbus BlueJackets.

Monday, November 10, 2008

Milan Hejduk

Mailed on 10/24/08 and received 1/3 back on 11/10/08. Another picture instead of cards from the Avs. Still nice to get something back. I hope all of these are real. Cards where mailed to the Avs.

Ryan Smyth

Mailed on 10/14/08 and received 1/3 on 11/8/08. Another autoresponse from the Avs but like the Tyler Arnason picture its actually signed. I sent 3 cards and he signed none of the cards but thats ok. Very happy to get anything back from a great player like Mr. Smyth. Cards where mailed to the Avs.

Tyler Arnason

Mailed on 9/29/08 and received 1/3 back on 11/7/08. Well I got an autoresponse letter and a signed photo (which is actually signed which is nice). They returned the 3 cards I sent obviously unsigned. I was a big Arnason fan when he was here in Chicago and was a little disappointed that he didn't sign my Hawks card but oh well. Does Tyler Arnason actually get so much mail that he has to do this or is this just a team wide thing? Oh well nice photo, better then most team autoresponse things.

Corey Locke

Mailed on 10/20/08 and received 5/2 back on 11/7/08. Signed one of the two cards I sent him and signed all 4 index cards I used to pad the envelope. He kept one of the two 09 Victory cards I sent him, maybe he just wanted one of his first cards which is cool with me. Nice signature and cards where mailed to the AHL Minnesota affiliate.

Rod Langway

Mailed on 10/31/08 and received 3/3 back on 11/7/08. Great return from a handnosed Captain in the NHL. All cards signed very nicely in bold blue sharpie. Cards where mailed to Mr. Rod Langways business.

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

James Wisniewski

Mailed on 10/27/08 and received 1/1 back on 11/5/08. James Wisniewski or "Wiz" is currently rehabbing a serious knee injury but he looks to return hopefully soon. Wiz is one of the more public figures on the team, currently working on his own clothing line etc... and a hard nosed player. This is a sweet return! Card was mailed to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jordan Hendry

Mailed on 10/22/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/5/08. Mr. Jordan Hendry had a very solid year establishing himself in the NHL last season and even though he is currently back in Rockford, I know he's going to be a steady NHL defenseman. He plays smart defensive hockey and will be an asset here in Chicago for the future. Sent these two cards to the Chicago Blackhawks when he was with the Hawks but was soon sent to Rockford so I'm very happy to see these didn't get lost.

Colin Fraser

Mailed on 10/27/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/5/08. I love Mr. Colin Fraser's hardnosed style of play, he gives 100% every second that he is on the ice and I look forward to watching him for a long time here in Chicago. He signed both cards in bold black sharpie. Look Great! Cards where mailed to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Niklas Hjalmarsson

Mailed on 10/22/08 and received 1/1 back on 11/5/08. Nice return, happy to get this card back because I sent this card while Mr. Niklas Hjalmarsson was with Chicago still but shortly after I wrote to him he was sent to Rockford. Signed and returned very quickly anyway! Sweet signature from a promising young player.

Monday, November 3, 2008

David Newhan

Mailed on 6/5/08 and receivd 2/2 back on 11/3/08. This was the first time that I sent mail to Mr. David Newhan but received it after the second time I mailed him. The thing was I think that I sent this to the Round Rock Express and shortly after he was called up to the Astros so I didn't think I was gunna get this one back but I was pleasantly surprised to see it. Both of these Bowman gold cards are slightly creased but nothing to bad, I can live with it. Mr. Newhan has had a long journey through professional baseball and did a fantastic job for my Astros last year in the time he was with the team. Cards where mailed to the Round Rock Express.

Bryan Bickell

Mailed on 10/27/08 and received 6/2 back on 11/3/08. Awesome return from a Blackhawks prospect. A little story about Bryan Bickell, I went to a Peoria Rivermen vs Rockford Icehogs game and we sat to the immediate left of the Icehogs bench which is the team Mr. Bickell plays for. And the whole time during the game this stupid Rivermen fan would yell and holler at the Icehogs players as they came off the ice after shifts. And you could notice the Icehogs players took note of this fan. So the game went to OT and about 1.4 second before the overtime ended the Icehogs scored and won the game on an awsome goal. And most of the players strolled past the now very quiet Rivermen fan with a smile and a laugh but Bryan Bickell just had to rub it in a little bit. Mr. Bickell gets into a verbal fight with this guy and shot some very good comments at him like "You should stand up when you talk to me"(the Rivermen fan was also very short and was standing up but ya know Mr. Bickell had to rip on his height.) So that was very funny to watch and I'm very honored to add Mr. Bickell to my collection. Cards where mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.

Trent Whitfield

Mailed on 10/25/08 and received 4/2 back on 11/3/08. Great return he signed both of my cards and the two index cards that I used to pad the envelope. Crazy signature it's a mass of blue sharpie lol. I've seen Mr. Trent Whitfield play a few times with the Peoria Rivermen and I love his hard working style of play. He makes things happen on the ice with his hustle and offensive skill. Very happy to get these cards back so quickly! Cards where mailed to the Peoria Rivermen.

Mike Modano

Ughh another fake return from Mike Modano. Mailed on 5/10/08 and received 1/3 back on 11/3/08. Whoever is ghost signing for Modano (I think its his mother or wife) needs to work on their skills a little more because these fakes they send out look nothing like authentic Modano autographs. And the envelope was postmarked from Detriot just more evidence that this is completely 100% FAKE. I just HATE how some athletes do this. I'd much rather wait a very long time for a return, get my cards back unsigned, or simply never get a return instead of this garbage. Another very nice Modano card of mine ruined, first a JERSEY card was ghost signed now this nice Topps Gold Label card ruined. I mailed these cards to the Dallas Stars.
