Garnet Exelby

Received this on on 1/28/11 and got 4/4 back in about a month. Mr. Exelby has been great for me TTM, I got him recently and then bought a few newer cards to send him and he graciously signed these as well. Garnet has been solid in Rockford this season and I hope he gets a shot in Chicago at some point. Cards were sent to Rockford.

Show and Tell: Rookie Gems

So I've decided to add a little extra to my site, every so often I will post some items that I haven't gotten through the mail on here so you folks can check them out. I have to give credit to my friend Sal who is the creator of Sal's Hockey Autographs who I first saw this on his site. Check out Sal's site which can be found on the right side of my page.

Today I've decided to show you my Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews signed rookie cards I managed to get at Hawks practices. The Hawks used to practice at the Edge in Bensonville, IL and it was possible to get a few autographs. But their new location is much harder to get guys to sign. So I'm happy I got these when I could. I really like the Toews autograph because it's one of his better signatures, he can get quite sloppy at times. The Kaner card is also pretty sweet. These are two of my nicer signed Hawks cards and I hope you enjoyed taking a look.

Glen Murray

Received on 1/18/11 and this request took about 2 months. I've wanted to get Mr. Murray for a long time and his address finally popped up and I was able to get him. He kept one or two of my cards but I'm still happy with the cards I got. Mr. Murray had a great NHL career, every year he put up consistent numbers and was such a solid player. Nice bold autograph on all three of these cards. Cards were sent to his home.

Wade Brookbank

Mailed on 1/3/11 and received 2/2 back on 1/15/11. Another Icehog who quickly returned my two cards. Mr. Brookbank is a big time enforcer and can put it in the net every once and a while. I like the silver signatures on both of these. Very happy with both of these cards. Cards were mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.

Jiri Tlusty

Mailed on 11/23/10 and received 2/4 back on 1/13/11. Nice cards from a high draft pick who is currently playing for the Hurricanes. I sent doubles of both of these cards and Jiri kept them which is fine with me. Just took a gamble with this one not knowing if he was a signer and it worked out. Cards were mailed to the Hurricanes.

Gordie Roberts

Mailed on 9/7/10 and received 5/3 back on 1/13/11. Mr. Roberts signed the three cards I sent and both of the index cards I used for protection. Nice signatures in blue. Mr. Roberts had a long successful NHL career, he could score and was a physical force on the ice. Very happy to add him to my collection. Cards were mailed to his home.

Ryan Potulny

Mailed on 12/20/10 and received 2/2 back on 1/8/11. Another Rockford Icehog who I bought cards for and got a quick return from. Mr. Potulny got some very nice cards coming into the league, I really like how these turned out. Cards were mailed to the Icehogs.
