Kris Russell
Mailed on 11/16/09 and received 5/3 back on 12/30/09. Ahh nice to get a return again! Santa certainly didn't bring me many returns during the holiday season. This is also a great return from a young star in the NHL. Kris is going to have a very long and successful career on the Columbus blueline as they get better and better. Nice looking signature on all of the items. I really appreciate him taking the time to sign the index cards as well. Hopefully this is the first of many returns coming for me! Cards were mailed to the Blue Jackets.

Olli Jokinen
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 3/3 back on 12/21/09. Nice to get three sweet looking cards from an NHL star. Olli has always been a productive player and he has hopefully found a home in Calgary. I received a card from Olli earlier after I had already re-mailed to him or I probably wouldn't have mailed him these. But I'm not complaining about the extra autographs. Cards were mailed to the Flames.

Trent Hunter
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 4/4 back on 12/19/09. Very nice return from a solid NHL'er. Trent has played his whole career with the Islanders so he's never really gotten the publicity he deserve. A very solid 40-50 point guy every year and is a necessity on any winning team. It was very nice of him to sign all four of the cards I sent him. This success finished out a very solid week of returns for me. Cards were mailed to the NY Islanders.

Cristobal Huet
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 3/2 back on 12/18/09. A couple beautifully signed cards from the Hawks number one goalie! Huet has really turned his season around, he started off shaky and the Hawks struggled along with Huet. But now Cristobal has been one of the best goalies in the league for a long stretch of time and the my Hawks are better then ever. Cristobal is a good signer TTM and I'm glad to add these cards to my collection! Cards were mailed to the Blackhawks.
Brendan Morrison
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 4/4 back on 12/18/09. Awesome return from a long time NHL'er! I saw a couple success to him through the Capitals practice facility so I have it a try. I'm very happy I did because these babies arrived today. Not the prettiest looking signature but he was nice enough to sign all four of my cards. Another card for my Victory set. Very happy with these cards! Cards were mailed to the Capitals.
Jonathan Cheechoo
Mailed on 9/8/09 and received 3/3 back on 12/18/09. Very happy to get this one back especially with a postage error on my part sending this one out. I sent this request to the Senators but on my SASE I put an American .44c stamp. Thankfully my error didn't cost me these cards, the envelope came back today. But there were no markings for postage due or any kind of return to sender for incorrect postage. I guess the postal service was a negligent as I was with this one haha. I love the OPC Game Breakers card! I asked him to sign right in that spot and Mr. Cheechoo was nice enough to sign it there. These all look awesome! Cards were mailed to the Senators.

Jonathan Toews
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 2/2 back on 12/17/09. Awesome! As good as it gets with this return. I love Toews and how hard he plays. He is also a very reliable signer TTM. It often takes a lot longer to get a return but this one was very fast! Jonny's autograph looks different every time you get him IP or TTM. Glad to see the captain still taking time for the fans as he becomes a bigger and bigger star in the NHL. He is only going to get better each year as he continues to play. Cards were mailed to the Blackhawks.
Troy Brouwer
Mailed on 11/30/09 and received 1/1 back on 12/17/09. Troy has been awesome so far this season with the Hawks. He has started to produce more and more points year after year. I love his style of camping out in front of the net and doing all the dirty work. A very underrated player for the Hawks. This card looks really good and clean with the autograph on it. Always great to add more Hawks autographs to the collection! This card was mailed to the Blackhawks.
Brian Gionta
Mailed on 10/24/09 and received 3/3 back on 12/17/09. Awesome return! This is the second time I've gotten from Mr. Gionta but its been a few years since I got him. I love these three cards. Mr. Gionta did an awesome job of signing in the most visible parts of the cards. The think blue sharpie contrasts really well on these three cards. Very happy! Cards were mailed to the Montreal Canadiens.

Andrei Markov
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 2/2 back on 12/16/09. I had some good timing with this one. Mr. Markov has been kind of an inconsistent signer through the years and I saw a recent success with him so I decided to mail this one out. Glad to get both of these signed. Mr. Markov has been an elite scorer as a d-man for many years! Nice to add him to my collection. Cards were mailed to the Canadiens.
Jordan Leopold
Mailed on 11/2/09 and received 3/3 back on 12/16/09. This is the second time I've mailed to Mr. Leopold and the second time produces results! A very underrated d-man who has been great with all the teams he has been with. I mailed all my nicer cards to him the first time, but these cards are very nice as well. Gotta love those blue sharpies! Cards were mailed to the Florida Panthers.

Scott Gomez
Mailed on 11/16/09 and received 1/2 back on 12/14/09. I didn't get back either of the cards that I mailed out and I got this card back instead. I'm incredibly happy with this return but I would have liked either of my cards back. Regardless, this is an awesome return that I did not expect back so quickly. Beautiful blue autograph on the card. Scott has been a great long time NHL'er and an awesome American born player. About as good of a request as you can get back! Cards were mailed to the Canadiens.

Bryan Berard
Mailed on 4/30/09 and received 4/4 back on 12/12/09. Nice looking group of signed cards. Bryan has been around for a long time and he is also an ex-Blackhawk. I didn't really expect to see these cards back so I was very surprised to open this one up. I love the blue signatures! Cards were mailed to his home.

Corey Crawford
Mailed on 11/30/09 and received 2/2 back on 12/11/09. Corey was once the rising goaltending star in Chicago but has never been able to get the opportunity he deserves in Chicago. When he has been with the Blackhawks he's played well. I can see a goaltending duo of Niemi and Crawford in Chicago in the future. Glad to have a signed card of Crawford in a Hawks uniform. Cards were mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.
Bryan Bickell
Mailed on 11/30/09 and received 2/2 back on 12/11/09. Bryan has played so well this season with the Blackhawks when he has been with the team. He was doing all the dirty work when he played on a line with Toews and Kane and scored some huge points. Since Hossa's debut he's been back in Rockford but hopefully he will be back soon. Nice bold black signatures on both cards! Cards were mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.
Jassen Cullimore
Mailed on 11/16/09 and received 1/1 back on 12/11/09. I found this card in a box the other day and I saw that the Hawks had re-signed Jassen and he was in Rockford so I sent it off. I always love getting former Blackhawks! Nice looking signature on a pre-rookie card. Quick success as well. Card was mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.

Blackhawks Practice Hounding
My boy Niklas Hjalmarsson!
Antti Niemi and John Madden
Went hounding a Chicago Blackhawks practice a while ago but I'm really bored so I decided to post my results now. The Hawks have changed their practice location and now its really hard to get autographs during practice. They pretty much shut it down to anyone trying to get some 'graphs. The only way to get autographs is to wait outside the parking area and hope that the players stop. Only a few do. The Hawks have become incredibly hard to get in the last two years since they have become so good. It's a shame but yeah things happen. Here's all I was able to get. John Madden is a super classy guy, he parked his car inside then walked outside to us, in the rain to sign. There were only 4 hounds waiting as well. Huet and Niemi were both in the car but I was only able to get Niemi. A rain drop fell on my card and smudged the card a little but nothing too bad. Niklas Hjalmarsson was also super nice. I got my puck signed when the players were going into practice, and as he was leaving he gave all the hounds a look to see if anyone needed anything else signed. I wish I had brought something else, Hjalmarsson is such a stud!

Ron Hextall
Mailed on 11/2/09 and received 5/5 back on 12/4/09. Great success from a great NHL goalie! It was nice of him to write different messages on each of the cards. He also signed one of his Champs cards which I am in love with! Mr. Hextall is working with the Kings now. Awesome looking cards. Beautiful signature from Mr. Hextall. Cards were mailed to the LA Kings.

Larry Robinson
Mailed on 7/22/09 and received 4/4 back on 12/2/09. Very sweet return from one of the all time great NHL d-men. Mr. Larry Robinson was a favorite of my fathers and played for so long in the NHL. I was watching old NHL games on ESPN classic the other day and Mr. Robinson was playing. Totally different game back in the day haha. I couldn't be happier with these. Cards were mailed to Mr. Robinson's home.

Chris Phillips
Not sure when I mailed this one out but I got 3/3 back on 11/30/09. I forgot to record I sent this one out and I sent another request to Mr. Phillips on 10/26/09 which was promptly returned. This one was mailed before that request. Nice of Mr. Phillips to be finishing off all of his mail. Very nice looking autograph. Very happy to get these back from Canada. Cards were mailed to the Senators.

Rostislav Olesz
Mailed on 11/2/09 and received 2/3 back on 11/28/09. Another nice return from a current NHL guy. I'm not sure why but he did keep my 06-07 Upper Deck card of himself. I doubt he needed it for his own collection at this point, he must be a 2 per kind of guy. Thats OK I really appreciate him taking the time. Rostislav is one of many talented young stars on an up and coming Panthers team. Keep an eye out for them in the next few years. Very happy with both of these. Cards were mailed to the Panthers.
Jim Slater
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 2/2 back on 11/28/09. Very quick return from a current NHL guy. Mr. Slater is a hard-nosed player and plays his role very well on a talent Thrashers squad. He is also a very reliable signer TTM and its nice of him to take the time for his fans. The thin blue sharpie matches perfectly with the blue on the card. Very nice autograph, both of the cards look awesome! Cards were mailed to the Thrashers.
Pat Verbeek
Mailed on 7/9/09 and received 6/6 back on 11/28/09. Sweet return from a long time underrated NHL star. Pat Verbeek put up awesome stats and never really got the recognition he deserved as an elite NHL scorer. I really liked him as a kid and I'm so happy to add him to my collection. It was nice of him to sign all 6 of the cards that I sent, this was a case where I couldn't decide what card to cut out to get to my normal 5 cards so I sent all of them. Class-act no doubt from Mr. Verbeek. Cards were mailed to Mr. Verbeek's farm.
Brian Noonan
Mailed on 6/22/09 and received 3/3 back on 11/28/09. I really love this return! The Brian Noonan card in the bottom left was one of the first hockey cards I ever got. I remember carrying it around with me everywhere I went so it means a lot to me. I didn't really want to send it out TTM risking even seeing it again but I'm happy I did. Its always great to add another Hawk to my collection. Mr. Noonan signed the cards in Red which is certainly unique but kind of hard to see on these cards. Still very happy! Cards were mailed to Mr. Noonan's home.
Paul Janish
Mailed on 5/5/08 and received 2/2 back on 11/28/09. Wow quite a wait for this one! I saw Paul Janish play in the minor leagues a few years ago and I was never able to get him in person so I mailed him these cards. Since, Paul has been in the major leagues playing some shortstop for the Reds. The USA jersey card really looks sweet. Very happy with these cards! Cards were mailed to his minor league team at the time.

Carey Price
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 2/2 back on 11/27/09. Did expect this one back so quickly, I saw a lot of long returns coming back from Mr. Price recently so I sent him one. Glad to see Carey taking time for his fans. Mr. Price has been a little inconsistent at times but he is still very young and has a long time to become one of the most talented goalies in the league. He has the still to do it. Both of these cards look awesome, clean black signatures on both cards look amazing. Top notch return! Cards were mailed to the Canadiens.

Kris Versteeg
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 1/1 back on 11/25/09. Kris is one of the best young players in the whole league. He doesn't get the credit that Toews and Kane do but he is just as exciting on the ice. Hopefully the Hawks can retain him after spending loads of money on all of their other talented players. Kris is going to be a productive star for a long time in the NHL and I look forward to watching him here in Chicago!!! Card was mailed to the Blackhawks.
Andrew Ebbett
Mailed on 10/26/09 and received 1/1 back on 11/25/09. Andrew Ebbett was a Hawk for 10 games this season. He played pretty well, didn't get many breaks and was put on waivers by the Hawks the other day. He got picked up by Minnesota and I wish him all the best with his new team. Its classy of him to take his mail with him even after getting let go. I really appreciate that as a fan. The thin blue sharpie is a bit hard to see but I'm not going to complain about an autograph. Card was mailed to the Blackhawks.
Sergei Gonchar
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 2/2 back on 11/20/09. Great return from one of the best defensemen in all of the NHL. This is the second time that I've mailed to Mr. Gonchar but the first return. I saw other people getting returns so I gave it another shot and it worked out very well. Very nice of him to sign for his fans like this. I'm sure he gets lots of mail so its probably not an easy task to sign for everyone. Great addition to my collection. Cards were mailed to his home.

Brad Lidge
Mailed on 6/26/09 and received 1/3 back on 11/20/09. AWESOME!!!! This is one of the best returns I've ever gotten. Brad Lidge is my all-time favorite athlete and I'm so excited to get him TTM. I got him a couple times a few years ago in person but nothing recently so I'm very happy to get him. Brad Lidge is such a class-act, he's had so many ups and downs in his career and he always acts professionally and respectfully. Just an overall good guy and not to mention he is a fantastic closer. When he is on, forget about it. Game Over. This is one of those successes that makes your month! SOO happy. Cards were mailed to the Phillies.
Tom Kurvers
Mailed on 10/24/09 and received 5/5 back on 11/20/09. Great return from a long time NHL'er. Mr. Kurvers is now working with the Tampa Bay Lightning. It's always good to add some old guys to my collection. These autographs look pretty clean compared to some of the other Kurvers autographs I've seen before. I must have caught him when he wasn't in a rush to sign. Great success! Cards were mailed to his home.

Arturs Irbe
Mailed around 10/24/09 and received 5/5 back on 11/19/09. I don't know how I missed recording this one but I did.... Arturs has been one of my top goals since I started doing TTM and I'm so happy to finally add him to my collection. I had no idea where he disappeared to for a while but then the Capitals hired him as goaltending coach to work with their young goaltender Varlemov. Great looking autographs on all of the cards except one which got smudged. Thats OK because the others look awesome. This has to be one of my favorite returns!! Cards were mailed to the Capitals.

Matt Keith
Mailed on 11/9/09 and received 4/2 back on 11/18/09. Veteran player thats bounced around a bit but has found his way back into the Blackhawks system. Mr. Keith is currently playing in Rockford and I'm sure at some point he'll get a shot in Chicago with the constant flipping of players the Hawks have been using from Rockford. Very nice of him to sign the two index cards that I used for padding as well. Always nice to add another Blackhawk to my collection. Cards were mailed to the Rockford Icehogs.

Justin Duchscherer
Mailed on 7/9/08 and received 1/1 back on 11/16/09. Bit of a wait... came back successfully with a .42c stamp on it. Beautiful looking signature, the thin black sharpie is the perfect choice for his precise signature. Mr. Duchscherer was hurt most of last season but when healthy he can dominate you by hitting the corner of the plate all night and wear out hitters. This is a card from the AAA all-star game I went to a while ago and Duchscherer was obviously there. Better late then never! Card was mailed to the Oakland Athletics.
Kimmo Timonen
Mailed on 11/2/09 and received 3/3 back on 11/16/09. Another pleasant surprise from this one, I really didn't expect to see this one back. I mailed to Mr. Timonen c/o the Flyers last season and got my cards returned unsigned and a postcard from the Flyers. Blahhhhh. I mailed this one to the Flyers practice rink and I was quickly rewarded from a very underrated d-man. The silver sharpie looks sweet on these cards! Veryyyyy happpppy! Cards were mailed to the Flyers Skate Zone.
Keith Primeau
Mailed on 11/2/09 and received 2/2 back on 11/16/09. Two weeks for one of the premiere tough guys??? sounds good to me! I grew up watching Mr. Primeau roughing guys up and scoring goals. A great leader on the ice for his teammates and he was always fun to watch. Mr. Primeau is now working with the Las Vegas Wranglers (I think its Wranglers) and seems to be signing through the team since thats where I sent this request.

Robyn Regehr
Mailed on 10/24/09 and received 5/5 back on 11/14/09. Very nice of a NHL player to sign 5 cards for me TTM. Robyn is a long time Calgary Flame and a tough customer on the ice. Cool looking autograph, some of the cards are harder to see but overall I couldn't be happier with these five beauties. Cards were mailed to the Flames.

Ray Whitney
Mailed on 5/11/09 and received 1/1 back on 11/12/09. This one was definitely a big surprise. I didn't think Mr. Ray Whitney signed TTM so this was a cool one to get. Beautiful signature on this card, its actually legible which is unique for any autograph these days. Minor smudging on this card but its nothing serious. He put the card back in the hard plastic case before it had time to fully dry. Card still looks great though. Another card for my Victory set. Card was mailed to the Hurricanes.

Henrik Zetterberg
Mailed on 8/24/09 and received 1/2 back on 11/6/09. Awesome return from one of the elite players in all of the NHL. Yeah I know he is a Red Wing and I bleed for the Hawks but I like Zetterberg as a player even though I swear at him whenever he plays my Hawks haha. He's a great talent and plays both ends of the ice. You've gotta respect a player like him. I sent him two cards and he kept the card I would have rather had signed but I won't complain, this card looks sweet. Cards were mailed to Mr. Zetterberg's agent.

Brian Campbell
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 2/2 back on 11/4/09. Very fast return from a star in the NHL. Any Hawks fans out there know how Brian Campbell can drive you up the wall with his soft play and all to often defensive mishaps but he is a dynamic offensive player and can skate with the best of them. I expect him to pick up his play this season and have another good statistical year. The cards look amazing! I love the Champs cards. Beautiful bold blue signature on both. Great of Mr. Campbell to sign for his fans. Cards were mailed to the Blackhawks.

Cory Stillman
Mailed on 9/8/09 and received 3/3 back on 11/2/09. Awesome return from a long time NHL veteran and goal scorer. Mr. Stillman has been on my list for a long time and on my third try I connect with him. These cards look great, bold black signatures on all three cards. Very happy with these!! Cards were mailed to the Florida Panthers.

Chris Phillips
Mailed on 10/26/09 and received 3/3 back on 10/31/09! Holy cow! 5 days from US to Canada then back to US! Very happy with these three beauties. Great looking signature on all three cards. Chris is a lifetime Senator which is cool to see this day in the NHL. Seems like guys bounce around every team these days so its a change to see a guy spending his whole career up to date with one team. Cards were mailed to the Senators.

Olaf Kolzig
Mailed on 10/20/09 and received 4/3 back on 10/30/09. Amazing success! This one was a major surprised and especially in such a short time period. Olaf had such a fantastic career and I'm glad to see him picking up the sharpie in his retirement. Beautiful looking signature on all of the cards! About as good as it gets with a success! Cards were mailed to Mr. Kolzig's home.

Jake Dowell
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 3/2 back on 10/29/09. Great stuff from a young stud. Jake Dowell is a tough customer on the ice and can also put the puck in the net. Jake Dowell along with a couple other young Hawks have been back and forth between Rockford and Chicago. I mailed this one to Chicago but it came back from Rockford. Glad Mr. Dowell took his mail with him on the journey. Jake has been great in the lineup, he is never afraid to stick up for his teammates and get his team going with a fight. He is also the Captain in Rockford so you know he has leadership skills. Very happy with these! Cards were mailed to the Hawks.

Niklas Hjalmarsson
Mailed on 10/18/09 and received 4/2 back on 10/28/09. Great return from one of my favorite Blackhawks! Niklas Hjalmarsson is one of the best young d-men I've ever seen. You have to watch the Hawks to appreciate what Hjalmarsson does. He is so cool with the puck and never gets out hustled. He is so solid on the blue line. These autographs look amazing and I'm so happy. Cards were mailed to the Blackhawks.

Blackhawks Hounding trip
This last week I shot over to the Blackhawks practice a couple days ago at Johnny's IceHouse in Chicago. This is the first year that the Hawks are practicing at Johnny's IceHouse so I had no idea how to get any autographs. I had trouble finding the practice facility so I got to the practice late. I only got to watch about 20 minutes of practice and players started to leave. I was frustrated and started to leave when I discovered the players all park in the parking garage. I grabbed the stuff I had in my car and was able to get a few autographs. I didn't have my normal supplies with me so these items where as good as I could do. More importantly I now know how to hound the Hawks. Here's my stuff.
John Madden signed pictureCristobal Huet and Antti Niemi signed towel given out at Home Opener
Patrick Kane signed calendar page
